How to Update an Android Version

An Android smartphone can either be updated automatically or manually. In case of automatically, one can update his/her phone and tablet from the settings, where they can just tap the update button. Updated software can result in improved performance and bring a lot of latest features, and it is also helpful in keeping you safe from different security threats.
If any latest update is available for your phone, then you will get it in the settings menu of your device or tablet. Whereas, just because there is a new version available in the market, it doesn’t guarantee that it will be available for your device as well. It is entirely up to the fact that which phone do you possess. Unluckily, right after the two years, you will notice that updates are now becoming rare. Manufacturers are not under any obligation of supporting updates for the older devices. How to Update an Android Version of your Phone: 
1.    Backup your data
First of all, backup your entire phone’s data as a precautionary measure like contacts and photos. Well, updates don’t affect your personal data but who knows. 
2.    Enter Setting
Tap the setting menu in your smartphone and enter into the menu. In most cases, you can simply find this option in your notification bar, otherwise just search it in your home menu. 
3.    About Phone
Now look for an option named as About Phone, once you find it, tap it and enter into the about option. 
4.    Software Update
There you will find an option of Software update or something other similar to that, click it, and next procedure will start in no time. 
5.    Search for an update
Now your phone will start to search any latest available updates. If it doesn’t turn out like this and you navigate to some other menu then just check some other software update button and click it. If there would be an update, then it would just ask you to install them. Otherwise, it will tell you that your device is already updated to its latest version. 
There is one more thing to keep in mind, never try to download updates via mobile data, and always download them with Wi-Fi connection, as the size of the file could be very large. So if you will download it via mobile data connection than it will cost you a lot amount of money.
After the completion of installation, enjoy your phone with latest updated android version.
